Kittiwake
Kittiwakes are coastal breeding birds ranging in the North Pacific, North Atlantic and Arctic oceans. The black-legged kittiwake is often known simply as kittiwake. The name is derived from the birds call, a song 'kittee-wa-ake, kittee-wa-ake'. Colonies can be found throughout the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands to southeast Alaska.
